When calendars showed the year 1955, the first Alpine model, the "A106" with a Renault 4CV infrastructure, was introduced.

Jean Redele was a highly intelligent racing driver who assumed the title of France's youngest Renault dealer in the early 1950s.

Alpine – Jean Redele

Highly committed to motorsport since his childhood, Redele participated in many races. The French pilot, driving a Renault 4CV even in the Mille Miglia, one of the most prestigious races in the world, has made different modifications to the vehicle over time. Redele, who succeeded in races especially held in the Alpine Mountains, has developed cars in many issues ranging from the 5-speed manual gearbox to the aluminum body parts. Through this, in 1954, the French pilot founded his own brand, Alpine.

When we came towards the 1970s, the French brand started to make its name in the special stages (rallying). When the Alpine A110 won the World Rally Championship in 1973, it both surprised and frightened teams such as Porsche, Lancia, and Ford.

What the brand did in the ' 70s was not only limited to that but also developed racing cars for Formula 2 and Formula 3.

For many years they had been bought by Renault. In the following periods, he continued to introduce different models and to develop sports cars by collaborating with ”Renault Sport."

The Alpine had begun to be forgotten with the death of Jean Redele in the 2000s. Car lovers were not happy with this situation because Alpine was one of the rare brands that managed to make its mark in this sector.

Last year finally, this long silence was broken down and the new generation Alpine A110, developed in conjunction with Renault Sport, was introduced.
